and I don't think UCLA's insiders and posters will be a good source of info, not when the surf's up brah
The money Nike gives is based on merchandise sales. So yes, if we win, Nike revenues will surely increase, but that would be the same no matter who is coaching.
I lived near campus back in early 2000's for about 6 mos, let's just say their student section ain't showing up early on gameday
No one from UF confirmed that we are pursuing Chip Kelly. While we all agree that they definitely are, when did Smerklin confirm it? Media is writing more than why he would be a good fit though. There is a clear indication of them pursuing him. : UCLA is reportedly already in pursuit of Chip Kelly to replace Jim Mora https://247sports.com/college/ucla/...y-Pursuing-Chip-Kelly-as-Head-Coach-110752344 https://www.cbssports.com/college-f...in-pursuit-of-chip-kelly-to-replace-jim-mora/ http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-fo...ip-kelly-next-coach/himqm9t9e1ve13fq9mue94h48
I imagine he could have signed last night a post dated contract to become effective after the date needed to protect his SF income.
Made these for the first time last year, amazing. http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2013/11/stuffing-waffles-recipe.html
I am late in replying to this post - but only because (out of respect for the members here who do not want to read the same freaking post over and over again from people too lazy to read and make sure that their sage replies have not already been posted) I really did read all the way through pg 692 (likely 694 by the time this posts!) before posting. THAT SAID: I might be a newbie here - but I am an old Gator. As in .....“1968-freshman-year—watched-in-person-the-51-0-loss-to-UGA-in-downpour—witnessed-SuperSophs-Reaves-and-Alvarez-and-FloridaFlop—am-still-po’d-at-Vols-for-1984–season-ticket-holder-North-Endzone-for-25-years” old. While I absolutely respect stp_gator’s enthusiasm in what he desires out of our next HBC - and I agree - I have a problem with the imagery of “competitive spirit and burning desire to beat the best and stand on top of the tallest mountain.“ Our time with the LAST guy to whom “top of the mountain” was ascribed started out great....and ended in a heap of players partying till all hours (without the HBC’s knowledge - but WITH the asst coaches’ knowledge), one player passed out at the wheel through 7 (I THINK) red-green light changes, AND rushes to Shands with heart palpitations. As great as the 2 NC’s were and are, the University of Florida clearly was NOT “the top of the mountain for Daddy” no matter WHAT Shelley told her kids. I very much appreciate what he did for us in his first 3 seasons here - I just wish that he had been honest with us from the get-go. Yeah. I am still bitter. I now return you to your regular “Kelly or Frost or Whoever for HBC” discussion!! Go Gators.
