FYI Volnation's Gruden thread is 101 pages, and they just started it this morning at 5:15am. They clearly want it more!

 

It's a tweet saying Kelly's Lawyer is setting up a meeting with UF officials this week. Not a done deal though

Coaches that are about to lose their jobs have no motivation to keep it quiet, and in fact probably feel like they are doing the right thing letting a kid that they have built a relationship with know what to expect.

 

What's the higher number in that thread? Misspelled words, or teeth? My money is on spelling errors.

That's the newest one. They start a new one because they run out of actual space. There's been 30+ that have been just as long. Imagine the traffic and AD revenue.

 

Went there last season. Nice, but lacking all the surreality of the Purple Porpoise.

Damn nice place, and the chicks were smok'n, but...not a comparable experience at all--not even after like 5 rum and cokes, and that, after the game (and all the pre-game and game time knocks...).

Purple Porpoise was an institution unto itself.

Been to some of the best bars in New Orleans, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Tampa, and piles of other places...

The PP held its own with the very best of 'em, and, biased though I may be, was my all time favorite.

Oh yeah Chip Kelly is a TERRIBLE recruiter. I mean its not like he had TWO HEISMAN trophy QBs committed to Oregon at the same time in Manziel and Mariota. The guy is clearly unlikable with a horrendous eye for talent.

 

Lots of us wanted Kelly during the last coaching search but he wasn't in play. Even up until these rumors started to gain traction I'm sure many of us felt he was unobtainable.

 

I'm posting because I hope to be on top of 69.
