The most true statement yet:

 

Kelly called and showed his interest in the job. Frost has been adamant about not even hearing anybody out until December after UCF's season concludes, that's still the case. The sentiment from guys around here in Orlando is that he 1. Stays at UCF another season or 2. Goes back home to Nebraska. That was before and after the UF opening. We had to make the decision to go after the guy that wants to be here that taught the guy we don't even know if he wants to be here. Easy decision!

Nebraska is a P5 school that will likely pay him what he wants, let him hire whatever staff he wants, that stadium will sell out every single game - even while they suck. (Big difference from UCF). That fanbase also won't expect a Natty year 2, or even a conference championship. And he's home, and his parents are there. If he can pull the athletes he needs to UCF, he can pull those same athletes to a bigger school. That man would be a god in Lincoln, Nebraska.
