I agree, it would be absolutely insane if they didn't get a signed contract. That't hard to believe.

The possibilities here:

1) it is signed

2) they blew it in epic proportions

3) they got totally blindsided by Chip

 

This has been my experience of the thread tonight.



But after 4 hours of it, I'm getting off for a while.

 

Just think if he makes $5m/yr, Chip's neighbor in LA could be making $50m/yr, where his neighbor in Gainesville will be making $500k/yr. Who wouldn't want to have the biggest cock on the block? He's a Gator.

 

If President Fuchs took his whole Sunday to fly to New Hampshire this has to be a done deal. Otherwise he wouldn’t have gone.

Riddle me this. Why did that plane land in Ocala 30-45 minutes away from Gainesville when none of them live in Ocala? Did any planes touchdown in Gainesville in the last 60 min window? They are/were trying to hide something. Even if they borrowed a plane Gville was on the way to NH.

FTR I don't believe they were turned down. They have the winning Tix for the 2017 coaching lottery in their pocket tonight. You don't agree to meet bringing that line up and return empty handed.

 

I've lived in LA. I'd live there any day over living in Gainesville, Hollywood liberals an all. And I didn't even live anywhere nice.

That said the tax angle is legit, and ultimately program vs. program UF has more to offer (including not being second fiddle in it's own city).

 

I keep seeing people mention this and we should keep it in mind. Apparently Chips agent is in Dallas at the game. Its apparently a breach of contract for Chip to sign a contract without his Agent
