Nothing to write home about. Terms were agreed to, but couldn't confirm if the actual thing had been signed, that was before the plane from Ocala to NH happened though. FWIW prior to that I was getting "be patient, it'll get done, etc". That's from my guy. Doesn't seem to be convinced of anything like it falling through happening.

Ppl seem to think they'll be flying into Ocala, staying in Ocala overnight then driving down to Hogtown. That's based on what I've been reading online, not from my guy. One of the Gator writers is on Twitter contemplating driving up to Ocala tonight.

Chip has everything to gain to go and visit all the interested schools. He can get more money and total control and all the assistant coaches he wants. He holds all the cards. Even though this ticks me off, you cannot blame him.

I don't know, if Chip wants to win championships he ain't going to UCLA. He's not a West Coast guy either. The whole thing just doesn't make any sense.

Has that even been confirmed? That was a tweet from something called "Southern Fried Rumors" that has like 500 Twitter followers.

 

There's no damn press conference to announce anything.

 

If it was true that Kelly isn't on board yet and wants to talk to UCLA, do we want him still? Outside of the obvious coaching success, if he is considering UCLA over Florida at this point, why would he stay at Florida if an even better option than UCLA came available that gets his interest?

If he signs with us and is announced tomorrow, hopefully they refute the UCLA crap.
