Just got done catching up on the afternoons proceedings and all I have to say is thoughts and prayers @tilly.
Well somebody's story is wrong cuz I highly doubt his agent is flying to LA to meet with UCLA while we are meeting with Chip. I tend to side with the more reputable source being correct. Whichever one that may be.
Tracing those links to the original source, the source say these are UNCONFIRMED RUMORS. CBS is calling this is a report. It's not.
@tilly and @BenTrillGriffin, y'all have anything to add on these reports? Flights? Contract signings?
Unfortunately because it’s CBS. Their source basically has nothing but they link to it like it’s legit so now some 247 claim seems real.
also regardless of how much i freaked out earlier i think Mora getting fired was the best thing to happen. I don't think its a simple coincidence that Florida is flying north 2 hours after Mora was fired. I wouldnt even doubt that Chips agent released the "UCLA interest" because Chip REALLY wanted to come to Florida and both Chip and the agent were tired of Florida taking their sweet ass time with this entire thing.
Tilly's dad is in the hospital so he hasn't been able to update as much today. So may take some time. My GF's kid is too. May need to go there tomorrow if he isn't out. So I can meet Tilly and we can give you guys updates together
I'm not too worried because we will hire a better coach than we had regardless. Foley's on top of this!!!
The funniest part about the UCLA thing is that they probably have like 50 fans left that haven’t already moved on to basketball season.
Someone on reddit is claiming the deal is done and that they have a source in the room. I will let you guys know if he ends up being a troll/fake
