I actually think the funniest thing right now about the Chip to UCLA rumors are that Florida fans have believed almost every single rumor people have posted whether it be from Twitter or dudes on this board. Any rumor sparks excitement but when someone says Chips agent is flying out to speak to UCLA......NOW we're supposed to be skeptical of the information?

I will CashApp everyone $1 that seriously thinks Chip is going to go to UCLA when he goes to UCLA.

Good lord people. All signs are and have been that Kelly will be our next coach ... period. Just because UCLA fired their coach and one site that's totally outside the loop claims his lawyers may talk to UCLA and you're ready to panic and concede him. Unless/until you see the thread title change or hear insiders from our camp panic, I would assume everything is on course.

 

I can quote 10 posts of you saying Chip Kelly in 48 hours, as early as monday, as late as end of week. That was last weekend buddy. Your track record is not that great for betting.

 

The problem is the faith in the UAA is low given their history of sucking at football

And if that happens its either because 1) he never planned on coming here and just used UF as a bargaining chip or 2) SS and the UAA took their sweet a$$ time only to be trolled and lose out in the end. Bottom line is this should've been announced by now. Lawyers work out the paperwork, but you can go ahead and announce it.

 

There is no "and now this". It's a process.

 

Yup. This is the thing, we went from "done deal" to legitimately being in a position where Chip could be announced as UCLAs next head coach. And even worse? We could see a situation where also Frost ends up in Nebraska. People dont want to admit it but if that happens, Stricklins career is starting in an impossible place because no one is going to accept or be happy with a Mullen or Strong or Norvell at that point.

 

With one game left, and one win away from possible bowl eligibility? Doesn’t make any sense.
