I certainly hope so. There is no reason to hold off until next Sunday or after to announce. Shannon and the team already know he’s interim. It’s not going to be disrespectful to anyone if Kelly is announced tomorrow. Keep the recruits in.

 

It's very important they have the ability to grow a carpet.

The pub was a wilder and crazier place back in the day. I'm referring only to the publicly available pub. The group that was in there behaved like recent college grads and pretty much nothing was safe from mockery or insult. Even Growl took part in the roastings/harassings etc back then. It was very lively with many different babe threads and goofball web games etc. and some adult convos. This was all before and during the brief time GC was hosted at Scout.

Once we left Scout and we upgraded our forum software, rep was added. Both neg rep and positive rep. (PD was like a freakin cylon with all the red rep he would get.) People got their feelings hurt by neg rep and it was removed so that only positive rep was available. It then became fashionable to trade rep and an entirely new group of people arrived in the pub to do just that. They weren't terribly receptive to the rowdy, nature of the pub and the take no prisoners/say what you want attitude there. Friction arose and the old pubsters lost. Most were banned. The place was never the same after that.

This is how I remember things without going into too much detail. Others will remember it very differently.

 

Each to their own. To me it seems like the new generation is all about making everything look different from what was intended. Hardwood and big round fake boobs and what have you got - they all start to look the same, like a plastic doll a 6 year old girl plays with.

I missed pages 310 to 509 of this thread. I assume that was almost 200 pages of discussion on carpet or no carpet? What did I miss? I am too lazy to check if the last 200 pages for news on the new head coach.
