Woke up hopeful. Came to this thread and remembered we’re probably losing to UAB and not announcing a coach until Tuesday...what a buzzkill

 

Bama beats Miss St by 3, I think the Aggies by 8 or 9 and now they are beating 3 top 25 teams with top 15 coaches by 10 or more? In 3 consecutive weeks? I have the Tide winning it all this year but that is a ludicrous statement.

the ideal situation is for CK to be announced sometime in the next week so he can meet the recruits visiting for the half assed u game

from everything I have read and been told CK is the ONLY guy SS is considering and also that CK is very meticulous and if he accepts the job as our new HBC, he wants to hit the ground running which means he wants to have his options available for assistant coaches immediately-which means they are doing the vetting of the assistants before hand-then he has a staff up and running so they can do some in home stuff and meet and begin to develop some relationships with those committed or those leaning

makes a lot of sense to me that he would want all the i's dotted and all the t's crossed when he is introduced- it may not be a fans game plan, but I like a guy who has a plan and work's his plan

I find it reee dik uh luss when Gator fans attack other Gator fans over something they bring to this thread- on too hot, it is expected but on SG it makes me shake my head - if you do not agree with something posted okay say it and move on instead of making it personal - tilly has been much more lenient than I would have been(but then I just moderate the pub and start the threads with T&A in them)

Guys can we get back to the coaching search instead of the GC swimsuit issue. I have some important info here.

So SS has people monitoring this exact thread and after last nights posts from Macattack, rmss, gatordad , he has told them they can focus on other issues relating to the coaching search. He would personally monitor this thread, especially from those posters, from here on out. Pretty big news!
