Not to be a Debbie Downer but my fear if we hire Kelly is that the defense will get neglected and take a step back....he didn’t really have good defenses at Oregon did he? You won’t be able to just outscore the Bama’s and Georgia’s and FSU’s of the world...I don’t want to be one of those schools that goes from losing 14-10 to losing 45-40

I think that was primarily a by product of being at Oregon and not very close to where the top defensive talent is, within the nation. Great line play is mostly in the SE part of the country, IMO. And Kelly knows (or will quickly find out) that he'll have to have a stout defense to survive in the SEC.
