For everyone who’s impatient you have to realize that

My take is that Strip Slapstik and team came into this process prepared to vet a few head coaches. But Chip comes in and wants certain assistants to be guaranteed in his contract. Now all of a sudden the team has to vet another 10-20 people and it’s taking some time because they want to get it right. No inside info but this seems like a reasonable assumption based on what we’ve heard so far. Patience and let SS and their team do what’s right for UF.

Not sure what your aim is but you're a real buzzkill. I know for a fact I went into a Frost post and said it's going to be Chip when no one on this board was hearing CK. Around the same time Tilly's post (this one) popped up based on his own findings. I'm not saying that to say I'm the first person in the whole wide world to report it, because I was told it. So I'm sure someone else was told it. Nor do I want to be praised for having information. I love UF football like everyone on here, so I share.

For you to present I got the information from elsewhere as fact based off nothing more than your own perception is dumb. Not sure why you're so angry over people trying to share information. EVERYBODY is sharing what they heard, until Scott Stricklin himself signs up - that's what it's going to be. Media included. The thing about having a source is obviously you can't out your source, because these people actually have jobs. I've never come on here and said HEY LOOK AT ME, I HAVE SOURCES. Don't care to, I'm not looking to prove anything to anyone. People ASK what I've heard. Does that upset you? If you don't understand the damage pretenders and gossip girls will have done to this program if this falls through you just dont get Florida football or our fanbase.

I don't think I'm being ridiculous at all for telling people to speak from a place of knowledge or at least disclose their public sources (other boards or twitter) if they are going insinuate something.

Pretty reasonable request, but we are well beyond the point of no return now. Just hope it closes, I felt like we hit rock bottom, but I could very well be wrong if this doesn't pan out.
