Only thing I've learned through this whole process is that everyone has a "buddy" that went to UF and is now a booster, bull, or works for the athletic department.

 

In recent years we all had these guys we thought were the candidates, then in the end Foley got some semi no-name guy that turned out to be a bust, actually two busts. Meyer being the exception-a nice one too. So Zook, Muschamp and Mac were all busts, funny thing Zook was the best of the three.

So let's hope THIS time it is one of the guys we've been hoping for; finally

I can tell you whatever defense was facing the Ducks when Kelly was there was stressed to the max every single play (kind of the opposite of what we did the last 7 years). Kelly's teams would take a 10 yard loss trying to break a big one...which when they didn't break it...would only set the defense up for the game breaker three plays later. The Ducks, SOS, Mike Martz and the Rams, the vintage Pats.... Offenses of this caliber and uniqueness are just shear pleasure to watch.
