I think ultimately my annoyance isn't with the "Chip is a done deal to Florida".

That's fine. It's with the number of people who keep putting a timeframe on it. And this isn't a knock on any particular person on GC because its happening on Twitter more than anything.

At this point I dont care if the owner of GC came into this thread and said we should expect the hire to be announced at 8pm, I still wouldn't believe it. Why should we at this point lol. The timeframe rumors are batting .000, no reason to start believing them now.

 

And we don't want one of his assistants out at huddle house with some 5 star recruits mom, botching up signing day. Only to fire the assistant a few days later.

Yeah it does. Life does get in the way. Enough my wife and I now have an agreement. Tues and Thursday get-r-dun go to sleep. Saturday night- whatever he wants. Fly on the wall would blush.

I know, I occasionally have to depart from the Chipwatch to do annoying crap that pertains to my job. It is un-A-damn-merican. People have lost all respect for the sanctity of the NCAA coaching process in this country. Teachers are not properly educating our youngsters. Why is it that our Jewish friends can get out of work for Yom Kippur, the day of atonement and repentance, and SEC fans are not excused from their duties due to ongoing HC searches? That's not about atonement and repentance?

I get the administration gives very few damns about what the fans want but this entire weekend is going to be miserable. Especially when you add in that the entire slate of games on Saturday is.....awful. So there isnt much in the way of distraction despite football being on all day tomorrow.

 

That's pretty much my system as well. And don't worry about the long story, you don't even want to know what I am dealing with in Palm Coast right now. Speaking of that, anybody know of a good real estate lawyer in Flagler County? Seriously!
