    Mark Helfrich is available right now. Jonathan Vilma has also said that Kelly is recruiting him to coach LBs. So that could be two of Kelly's staff members right there, and they could start recruiting ASAP because all 3 of them are TV analysts.

    Which adds to why this works. Kelly can really start building and hit the trail. If he has his OC on campus while others are still playing games at other places it is a huge head start.

    Neither can start until the current staff is fired. So the earliest he can start talking to recruits would be Nov 26th. Yes its still earlier than most others but not right away.

    Vance Bedford is a pipe dream DB coach who is currently unemployed. Would be a huge coup if Kelly could convince him to come back to DBU.

    No. There is a rule that allows an on field staff and an off field staff. Meyer was already recruiting for tOSU when we played them in the Gator Bowl.
