I'm doing the exact same thing at RDU. I'm not sure why, but I'll let you guys know if I see anybody famous!
one of his followers made an interesting point.... it's enough time for whoever will be on the plane on the way back, should it come, could be back in time for the basketball game this evening...
Could you imagine if they are having the halftime show at the basketball game tonight and then the lights go out, the enterance music hits, and then Chip Kelly is at center court.
So assuming some of you missed it falling all over each other trying to get on page 300, yoyogator just post this update from In All Kinds of Weather that claims, and it sounds reasonable to me, that the "showers" Tilly speaks of are that Chip Kelly provided a list of the assistant coaches he wants to bring in (some from Oregon) and because of the NCAA issues at Oregon, UF has to go through the vetting process with all the candidates. I presume that means that if there are any issues with any of them, he could decide to back out. My reasonable guess is that Kelly would understand if the NCAA or SEC said no, but you just never know. But the claims everything else is agree upon and the only hold up in Kelly signing is the vetting of his assistants.
Well, if "I coached Ray Lewis" doesnt impress a high school LB then nothing will. They all know who he is.
That makes sense. But my understanding is that there were certain assistant coaches who were directly involved in that 7 on 7 deal, whereas Chip was liable only for failing to be on top of the situation. I doubt he would include those particular coaches on his list of requested assistants, and if he did, surely he'd have to understand if UF said no thanks on those guys.
