If the inside information is true and he is, in fact, interested in UF as much as UF seems to be interested in him, then if his dedication is fading why not stick to the cushy ESPN gig and be another Gruden? One thing to consider with Spurrier's posts, Stricklin's denials, etc... Negotiating a price for Kelly will continue to go up the more press and buzz it garners within Gator Nation and the public. The more revved up Gator Nation becomes, the more leverage Kelly's side has to ask for more and more...

Hence, Spurrier and others may be trying to contain that growth in enthusiasm a bit.

I still have Frost as my 1A compared t Kelly as 1B. But really, the pros and cons to each basically are even. I could be swayed to make Kelly my 1A if he has some very large buyout to protect against the two years and gone likelihood.
