I don't buy this idea that there is no coordination between Kelly and Frost (why I posted what I did above). I think when you've worked together like they have, you don't just go taking a job two-hours from the other guy without talking to him about his own plans. I kind of view this like SOS taking a job 2-hours from Stoops when he went back to college. Just not going to happen. If one of your big recruiting pitches is "Oregon offense w/ Florida players" - you don't build two of those programs 2-hours apart. There can only be one! With careers and entire programs on the line, I'm pretty sure they have spoken.

I don’t believe SOS will object AD’s choice, it’s not his call.

 

And if true, how does Chip feel about coming on without the full support of the Ambassador? Like he's second pick. This may not end well.

 

Frost is who I prefer as well, but you cant miss out on both Chip and Frost in the end. Frost needs to give a firm yes but after the season otherwise move on.

 

If there are truly people involved who hold up a Chip deal for inferior coaches or long shots and we miss out on chip I will be.....pissed.

 

How would Chip feel -if hired - knowing SOS (working in the building) was supporting a different coach?
