Tonight I'm making pan fried pork chops, homemade potato wedges smothered in cheese and bacon & topped with green onions and sour cream.

For dessert....homemade double chocolate brownies with either vanilla or chocolate ice cream.

Just sayin'

 

I'm having a frozen tuna casserole dinner. And for dessert a Fat Boy ice cream sandwich.

The joys of Buffalo...do I work on arm weights this morning or skip because I know I've got to shovel some & brush off the SUV?

Ugh.

 

It was good. Later I had about four Reese peanut butter cups and a Dr. Pepper.

 

After my dad was stuck in his downtown Buffalo office for 3 days during the Blizzard of '77, he walked in the front door of our house in Orchard Park and proclaimed "Screw this. We're moving to Florida."

I was only 4 at the time, but I thank him every chance I get for that decision. =)

I still have family in Sanborn. My cousins run the Wagner Farm. Best apple cider on planet earth.

You must be a tough cookie to handle winters in Buffalo. They are nooo joke. (tip of the hat to ya)

 

You need a man to do that kind of stuff. Just wave at one going by and he'll stop to help you.

Remember how Dolly Parton met her husband when she first got to Nashville. She was standing in front of a laundromat waiting for her clothes to dry. A man drove by and waved. She waved back. He turned his truck around and wound up taking her home to meet his mama.
