We are not elite in the football world, haven’t been for years. We convince ourselves that other schools can’t match us. What a joke.

A&M and UT will take their picks of coaches and we will be left with another damn MacElwaste. We’re back to hoping the $2 DVD in the bargain bin will turn out to be a good one.

 

This is really hard to validate and given recent history a little tough to swallow. We heard a lot of stuff about the contract, dates that did not come to fruition. I think the uaa is just really good at decoys and misinformation now. It's not the 90s, it's too hard to be getting real info consistently under the radar.

 

At this point this is probably good advice for all of us. We'll know when we know and until then there's no sense getting invested in information with a tenuous connection to reality.

I don't think the messengers are wrong or to be blamed, but the upstream sources have proved to not know as much as they once did, and that's why the predictions have fallen short in the last decade, particularly for football.

 

That kinda proves my point. The announcement was made then he changed his mind. We have evidence. Here it is all speculation.
