Update: Kelly buzz..."The Thread" Hall of Fame bound.

This is my last look around. Kind of like the last episode of Friends. I'm leaving my key on the counter and jetting. It's been fun.

Sorry I don’t buy it. I get the desire to be first and in the know. I took info from here to friends that don’t read this forum. It is human nature

 

Are your sources telling you that, or is it the voices in your head? Or, is it simply impossible that the info was correct, and Kelly came back with new demands for too much, as posted here?

 

This will not be the first time that Kelly backed out on a deal

 

In all fairness, Kelly has a history of pulling crap like this and changing his mind at the last minute, it's well documented. Your anger should be directed at him. Many on here are blowing up SS as well, but he very well may have done all anyone could. Foley probably wouldn't have even tried with CK.

 

Man if we can get frost I'll be pleasantly surprised. Not counting on it though, drinking alot of whiskey today lol

 

We will feel just like we did when Chip was officially announced at UCLA.

Sorry guys but I see this as a Huge indicator that we will not be what we once were in football for a long time.

There's no reason to blame them whatever, but losing access to "information" that is by and large erroneous or baseless is no great loss. Three straight coaching hires without the insiders having any insider info.

 

What is wrong with Norvell.

 

My guess is the crew flew up to sign Kelly last Sunday and delivered a contract that tried to make CK a 100% safe hire(based on the old guard being uncomfortable with CK) this caused CK to pause and that was all the window UCLA needed. UCLA realized there is no 100% safe hire so why not take a chance on a proven winner.

 

Yeah that’s the kicker, we aren’t likely to get Frost over Nebraska and have seemingly proven to be unwilling to do what is needed to win a bidding war.

 

That is all good, my deal is the folks that claim to be inside with no proof but can’t stand up to or allow discussion or disagreements.
