What has happened here is when USC beat UCLA, we lost Kelly.

If you watched the game, it makes it all the more frustrating (assuming we don’t get Frost) because UCLA should have won.

I think it looked like a done deal to people (including SOS’s little nugget) and then that happened.

 

If UF doesn't offer at least a top 10 salary we won't get CK or Scott Frost. If UF is offering less than $6 million per year they'll get a second tier coach. $4.5-$5 million per year is almost average nowadays at most competitive programs.

 

Well **** Kelly then. He’s good, but he’s not the only option. I wanted him, but Frost is still a possibility and so are a few other good choices if we can make it happen. I refuse to be pessimistic. I’ll keep hoping something great happens until Stricklin gets up on that podium and says we hired John Doe from the Southwestern University of Northern Agriculture in Branson, MO.

Then I’ll start drinking.
