Anyone who read the 1000 plus pages of this idiotic thread would feel UF is incompetent. Best to wait until the new coach is hired before making a value judgement on the UAA

 

I am still not buying that Kelly's ship has sailed - not until he is announced at a PC (as BTG has said). I haven't read every single post today but it's odd how quiet everybody seems to be. If he truly is gone, I can accept it, but I just have this odd hunch that it's not over yet. Going to keep hanging in there until the very end.

Sigh, why is our UAA so bad at this? At this point, it's hard to blame Stricklin/Foley, as the problem seems to have spanned both of their tenures. Whatever they are doing on these coaching searches...it ain't workin'. We are about to miss out on our top 2 candidates to freaking UCLA and Nebraska. The rest of the names I've seen mentioned are completely uninspiring. Strong? Mullen? Give me a break! Here's hoping they do a better job in 3 years.

They averaged 35.8 PPG that year. The facts are the facts. 114-34 with 2 NCG appearances, 1 national title, and a 7-4 Bowl Record. Miami hired Mark Richt despite the same complaints about him. They're doing pretty darn well with him.

 

How many “done deals” have actually been reported by various media and internet websites this week?

 

None of what has transpired proves that our insiders were wrong. If Chip agrees in principle to a deal then keeps pushing for more, so be it. These things are fluid. The only sure thing in this whole thread is that you have shown yourself to be a miserable, bitter poster.

 

How would GatorNation feel if Chip requested that SOS have his presence in the program reduced. Maybe he is not that type of guy but it doesn't seem so far fetched IMO.
