UF is in deep poop negotiating with Frost, should UAA choose to negotiate. Same agent as Kelly so they know everything we put on the table. How would we tell Frost, in effect, "sorry but you are not Chip Kelly"?

 

Don't forget the Kelly Frost protege relationship, they could be playing everyone ;-)

For what it is worth, sources tell FootballScoop Florida officials feel very confident in their ability to secure Frost as their next head coach. All of this comes after many, many coaches told FootballScoop Chip Kelly plans to choose UCLA over Florida.

 

Correct. And what will he tell Chip if asked about his intentions? Tough to tell if you don't know what's going to be offered. Hence why I think it helps our coaching search.

While you could talk, I would imagine he would be very leery to openly commit. And if he did, he won't be on the job until after his bowl game. Not very different from most of the other options mind you.

We were never talking to Frost. This weekend we are talking to his agents... and my guess is, we'll talk to Frost this weekend too, but no one will know about that.

 

So I guess we can finally stop calling people who were skeptical about all the "Chip Kelly done deal" reports trolls?

 

Are you crazy? We have the best UAA possible. All Frost has to do is everything we ask and he’s not allowed to be greedy. We have the recipe for success he just has to bend to our every wish.
