Kelly signed. Something happened. No one knows what. Kelly did sign the contract. Can't tell you how I know, but I know. You'll say it means nothing without proof and that's fine. It was signed. Agreed. And that has been backed out of. Something happened. Maybe it was UCLA? Who knows.

And, sadly, the most entertaining aspect of this season. By light-years.

I think alot of people knew from jump that Charlie and UT wasn't a good fit and that he was cashing out and leaving while his stock was at an all time high. Couldn't pass up that cash and opportunity. Also remember he was UT's second option behind Saban.

Frost is as exciting to me as Meyer was at Utah, just not done it as long. I feel pretty strongly that he is going to succeed wherever he goes..

What makes me feel like he could handle the SEC is that he has proven he is a very tough winner under center. And I suspect he is a better leader and a better person than Meyer, and possibly Kelly.

It does preclude Meyer being the #1 choice. It also sounds a lot like the anger happening right now.

I remember Meyer at Utah well. I also remember a crapload of other coaches who looked amazing in lesser conferences who weren't amazing HCs when the competition stepped up.

Meyer panned out. So could one of the non-Chip candidates this year. It's very clear that y'all are misunderstanding my point.

You already told everyone you know someone who says he saw a signed contact. Maybe he's lying. Maybe he saw something and thought it was something else. Maybe he's 100% accurate. Who knows? That's the point.

Your opinion of me is not more important than not saying who gives me info. His job is more important to me than some random douche with a bad attitude on a message board. Don't like it..go screw yourself. Don't care.

Good point over what more control could be as a COLLEGE head coach. Not like he was asking to be the athletic director lol

Maybe he did. I doubt that though. He works very closely with UF from a financial aspect. So I don't think he would view it incorrectly. He wouldn't be inside in why a back out happened. Only on what happened contract wise.

Every single coach in college football is every school's second option behind Saban. Texas was just delusional enough to believe they had a chance at Saban.

No, I haven't. That's been my point the entire time. You're misunderstanding the point if you think I'm moving the goalposts.

We could do a lot worse than Willie Taggart. USF finished 11-2 last year and was ranked 12th in total offense. This year Charlie Strong will finish no worse than a 10-2 regular season record with Taggart's players. Oregon is currently ranked 6th by Rivals with a recruiting class that includes four players from Florida, 3 of whom are 4 stars. If he can persuade players from Florida to commit to playing in Eugene, Oregon how well do you think he could recruit for the state's flagship university?

The long time part is huge for me. Lots of guys have pulled off one great year, not many do four straight.

And add I post USF takes the lead
