ho ho. We message boarders need to wait for facts sez the monument to waiting on the facts without even a hint of irony. It’s the fat killers who should’ve waited for facts.

Bottom line is this is nothing like the story as it was first presented to us. Initially, it was an innocent black man taking his daily jog through a neighborhood and all the sudden some racist white guys saw him and didn't like his skin color, so they chased him down and lynched him. That is clearly not what occurred here. The initial narrative was a false one.

My Translator keeps getting jammed up from an overload of WTF, so would you run these through the Emmitto Translator v 1.984:

"I do not get unnerved when drug dealers get shot during a drug deal gone bad either."

" Moral of the story here is making bad decisions can often lead to bad outcomes, in both Arbery's case and the McMichaels."

It is interesting that you object to "not necessarily" and taking somebody's opinion as gospel. You then characterize this case as: "clearly gone from an innocent black man being lynched to a black man who entered a home that wasn't his, after a string of burglaries, who then went after a guy with a gun who tried to track him down and got shot."

That is YOUR characterization. I still see an innocent black man. What do you see? Of what is he guilty? He did not enter "a home". He entered a construction site. Nobody alleges he took anything.

I repeat, he was tracked down by two guys in a truck with guns for going on a construction site and taking nothing. They aggressively confronted and appear to threaten him.

Despite these two guys doing this you say he "went after" them? That is some characterization of a guy being chased down by armed people in a truck. Chased down and confronted with a shot gun and you see "he went after them." Damn.

Then you compare his death to a drug dealer dying after a "drug deal gone bad." I do not know if this killing was racist and neither do you, but this comparison is grossly inaccurate at best, or is a misguided attempt to appeal to a stereotype at worst. Either way your equating the victim to a "drug dealer" being shot after a drug deal when we have no evidence of any felony is factually wrong at best, dog whistle racism at worst.

And all the above does not take into account the law enforcement officials actively covering up this case as reinforced by the GBI comments charging these 2 men with murder. Absent some evidence actually connecting the victim with a felony (there is none) AND showing that deadly force was reasonable and necessary (they knew the guy and had cell phones so why couldn't they call the police), I do not see what you see at all.

I hope the accused are afforded due process that the victim was denied (if he even committed a crime). I also hope they do not benefit from the statistically undeniable fact that whites killing black people are acquitted far more often under stand your ground laws than when whites are killed.

5/10/2020. Still no reported home burglaries. The fat killers said that there were a string of home burglaries. I guess for some of our more gullible gators that makes it a fact

Looks like someone is upset that someone else has the audacity to have an opinion that varies from theirs. Sorry that irks you so much. There are a lot more facts now than there were when the initial story was posted. To be clear, I am not saying Arbery deserved to die. But the narrative that he was just an innocent man taking a jog and got lynched is false. These things happen when you choose a life of crime. Doesn't mean he deserved to die, but people die every day making very bad decisions. I'm not taking to the streets over them either.

Seems pretty much the same to me. There is no crime, at this point, on the guy who was shot dead in the street after multiple vehicles fullowhitey chased him down.

I might agree that the jog is now more like running for dear life. I doubt that’s a change you’re advocating.

So let me just make sure I understand you here. Let's say you're a builder. You're building a new home that you hope to sell soon. You're okay with just anyone entering or poking around the premises, so long as they don't take anything? Or let's say you live in a neighborhood with new construction homes going up. You're good with passers through just waltzing into the new homes, as long as nobody officially lives there yet? You don't see any problems with that at all?

"I do not get unnerved when drug dealers get shot during a drug deal gone bad either."

ET 1984: “This person is the same as a drug dealer targeting your kids.”

" Moral of the story here is making bad decisions can often lead to bad outcomes, in both Arbery's case and the McMichaels."

ET 1984: “Arbury is equally responsible, he pretty much killed himself. Moving on!”

Nothing to do with your opinion. I was addressing the school marming in your ps admonishing people for passing judgement before having all the facts. If you look back I objected to another poster for the same thing prior to (I think) you ever posting. The notion of not passing judgement until you have all info is dumb IMO & certainly not how humans are wired. I doubt you or anyone else does it. You can always update as more info comes out. Ever seen the game day thread?????

All that is awesome, but on these subject matters, I've learned over the past few years that it is best to wait for more facts to come out than to take up the left's initial portrayal lock, stock and barrel. It appears you have come to some of those same conclusions yourself or you would not have said what you said. The bottom line is this is nothing like the narrative that was presented. And to date, we have no evidence whatsoever that the McMichael family are racists. Them being white and from Georgia doesn't quite cut it. In a court of law, you're going to need more than that. (as you should in the court of public opinion as well). We may find out they were part of the Aryan Brotherhood for all I know. But to date, we have no shred of evidence that points to them being racists other than lefties telling us that's what we should think. (which isn't evidence)

Wow, you're just working overtime to make the McMichael's actions seem reasonable, practically laudable, instead of the insane overreaction it was.

They pursued a black jogger and killed him for trespassing. I suppose you don't consider that evidence of racism? Just doing their neighborly duty, and race wasn't a factor?

Not clear what you mean here or to what you are referring. I did not admonish people for making judgments prior to having all info. I admonished a poster for admonishing a person making a judgement prior to having all info.

finally, how would anyone ever know they had all available information?

Oh, gotcha. Yeah, you're probably right. Rushing to judgment seems to be the best course. Especially as we sit behind our keyboards with very little (if any) first-hand knowledge of the circumstances.
