Agree - these damage control statements appear to be scripted - kinda like they are written by a PR departments.
Guy has a couple screws loose walking in to stadium with a ski mask and than walking out in his uniform.
We used to say “Once a Gator always a Gator.” I would never wish him ill, but neither will I wish him success. He made a business decision to leave his team. We welcome other players that do the same. Leave him be, Gators. Just point to the scoreboard if he wants to be foolish.
people yelling recklessly at me…… if he’s fortunate to be drafted, memo to him…..nfl fans do the same. Leave with your fellow teammates (sans gameday uniform) and that might not have happened. Toughen up buttercup.
No ill will toward him. Hard to face those who you chastised . A learning process that will hopefully help him in life. Go Gators and Good luck to him.
Probably an app for that. Dial-An-Apology…….drop down menu for situation. Just input your name/current team. Lol
Students yelling scoreboard is what sent him running after them in one of those videos lol. I don't understand the animosity from defectors that chose to leave and weren't forced out. I don't have a ton of sympathy for guys that choose to leave AND go to rivals or other sec teams that are on our schedule. For others that go elsewhere to get playing time, I root for those guys to do well even if it's bittersweet to see them succeed elsewhere. I see Princely as an emotional guy that struggles to bottle it. I don't blame him for being frustrated about his time here at all and even though he ran his mouth at times he was recently giving props for how the Gators were playing against Tennessee, Georgia etc Etienne on the other hand....screw that dude and his whole obnoxious sorry ass family.
Had he left the program with grace, this wouldn’t have happened. He set aflame the structure to cross the river while espousing his superiority, he continued to troll those that once cheered him, and then came back to that community making a mockery by flaunting a ski mask of a people he no longer belonged to. He made his bed, then he wants to be pissed that he was called out for his behavior? Yeah Princely, that isn’t how life works. If you start something, you better be able finish it or withstand the blowback. That young man will hopefully learn a valuable lesson from this moving forward, but I doubt it!
Lots of salt in Oxford. Dart ran straight to the locker room as the game was ending and never shook hands either.
They have the personality of their leader, color me shocked. His douchery hasn’t changed from the guy who fled Neyland in the middle of the night. I don’t understand the infatuation some carry for him as a coach. He’s good, but even that good doesn’t offset the baggage associated with setting a poor example at the top.
I think special circumstances apply here (and with Etienne). One of the hallmarks of this team is that they stuck together and saved their season. Guys like Umanmielen and Etienne, who not only transfer to other SEC schools but who take parting shots on their way out, lose their “Gator for Life” cards. I support players who want to try to be a starter at another program or who have family situations that they have to deal with, but a starter who jumps ship, takes a crap on their coaches and then acts like a big baby because fans are being fans deserves a place in the ring of dishonor.
That one was pretty backhanded and looks like it was written by an idiot. I’m going to assume he wrote it himself.
This is not at all to excuse his behavior or trashing our staff over the last year, but I cannot imagine where I’d be if the stupid things I did or the way I behaved when I was a young man were all on camera for people to see. I do hope he learns from all of this and it makes him a more mature adult. We all have sin in our life. Todays kids now have it all recorded for social media and the world to see. Again, not excusing it as it can’t be, just glad my worst moments don’t live on the internet and grateful for God’s grace. GO GATORS!……y’all can have Kiffin
