The whining will intensify even with improvements. On average every team in the SEC is going to have 1 more loss per year with the addition of TX and OU.
Only about 15 minutes from where I lived in NY. That’s one great thing about NY and the Northeast in general. You do get a feeling of history when you’re there. I wish I had been older and able to understand what was around me. I didn’t even know that Sleepy Hollow was 10-15 minutes from me either. There were a lot significant of Revolutionary War and Native American sites as well.
Now Umanmebenedict is saying he didn't mean it to sound like that and he should have just said there were coaching style differences. Trying to do damage control, but, it's too late.
Put yourself in his shoes. There aren’t many great senior defensive ends in college football for a reason. The NFL puts a lot of value on that position and they will draft the talent after 3 years to evaluate them. Princely graded out poorly and needed another year to maybe get into the NFL and he needed to change the narrative. Obviously team loyalty and character also matters in the NFL. Transferring to a rival doesn’t exactly demonstrate team loyalty so he’s trying to spin it. Throwing your former coaches under the bus for your failings probably isn’t the best approach but just like his on-field play, the guy’s brain takes a play off now and again and he screwed this one up. He’s doing the best he can.
