If it's a normal size 10 year old, shouldn't be a problem getting him to fit. Everybody tends to squeeze in a little bit.
As an FYI, I was only talking about the players. I don't really care which fans have the shade. I believe our players will be in the shade at some point in the first half, and Miami's will not be in the shade until late if at all, though that is just an educated guess. Obviously both teams will have to deal with the heat, but I'd rather be in the shade than in the full sun. But anything can happen. My first game at UF my senior year was 86 vs Ga Southern. It was also late August. I think it started at 1, and it was very cloudy so the temp wasn't bad. We could have the same conditions vs Miami. I think the main thing is for us to be ready for an opener (unlike last year) and for the fans to make it crazy hard for the Canes to snap the ball.
On Aug 31st at FL Field at 3:30PM and at whatever the Dolphins stadium is currently called it will be approximately the temperature of the surface of the Sun and there will be no discernible difference between the two.
Agreed, having lived in both places id say if anything Gville is hotter/more humid than Miami in the summer. S/have been a night game.
I guess it kinda depends how close you are to the bay or ocean. W. Kendall used to get pretty darn sticky in the Summer.
Well that goes without saying for all of Gville. Ocean breezes in SFl make the difference. At least for me. Bottom line is no advantage for either team regarding the weather.
