Is the hammer going to fall? Edit: Michigan receives NCAA notice of allegations in Connor Stalions' sign-stealing investigation /ETGator
Interesting how the crooked NCAA chose to wait until after Michigan won the championship before going after them. Same old shit
Michigan has 90 days to respond/appeal. Then, of course, NCAA will deliberate another round before decision is made on penalties. Won’t have bearing on this season: I wouldn’t think.
A scholly reduction is a joke with the new limits approved and Michigan can afford whatever fine gets thrown their way. It’ll be a giant nothing burger after the dust settles. Meanwhile in Athens…
Banning a team from the playoffs is the only real punishment left. Reducing scholarships has no impact in the NIL world. Just hire 'em as PWOs and pay 'em on the outside.
Any penalty from the ncaa over sign stealing is just the ncaa trying to be relevant. Every coach asked has said every team does it via film, sideline, press box, etc. They all say that if you aren’t changing them weekly, it’s your fault.
Stripping them of the title does nothing. You want to stop this? For the next 3 years no TV, ineligible for the Big Ten title and the CFP. I do not want to hear about it hurting future players. If you don't like it go somewhere else. This assumes they are guilty on all counts. UF got nailed in the 80's for a lot less.
