A naked man reportedly took advantage of Planet Fitness's transgender locker room policy to parade his genitalia around the ladies' facilities and be inappropriate towards women.

Christopher Allan Miller, 38, was arrested on Thursday for going into the women's locker room at a Planet Fitness gym in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Miller claimed to be a woman in order to enter the female facilities, but there is no indication that he identified as a transgender woman prior to the incident and his Planet Fitness membership lists him as a male. He also has a beard.

The gym's policy allows members to use whichever bathroom and locker room that aligns with the gender they identify as as part of the no-judgement motto.

No, he wouldn't have been let in the women's locker room if they had a rule against that. I guess you would be ok with this even if your daughter was in the locker room at Planet Fitness and some guy came in and got naked in front of everyone and then asked your daughter to lotion his back? Oh but since he was arrested that makes it no big deal?

 

Clearly you've never been to a Planet Fitness if you think either of the two employees behind the counter would actively and reliably police anything for their minimum wage job, beyond scanning membership badges for entrance.

 

So there was a forcefield or something on the bathroom door before? Did there used to be someone guarding the door and checking gender before letting someone in?

My point is that there were perverts and scumbags long before any of this trans stuff came into the mainstream. There's nothing that would have prevented this guy from doing the same thing if Planet Fitness didn't have the policy that they do.

It seems like you’re in a mood to argue. This is quite clear. You are either for or against the transgenders movement which has encouraged this type of behavior.
You seem to be for this behavior or you wouldn’t be bending over backwards to excuse it.

 

Please clarify what you mean by "this behavior." If you're referring to the behavior of the perp who was arrested, I haven't seen a single post saying this guy was within his rights to sexually harass women.

 

You and Mike are saying this guy wouldn’t have been stopped by the employee at the front desk, and there are perverts out there so this would have/could have happened before the transgender movement.
I’m simply saying the liberal backed transgender movement causes more of these instances…increasing the chances a pervert would even think to do it.

 

About the Planet Fitness story, I don't know the motives of the man, but the article says the charge is for "felony charge of indecent exposure." He reportedly asked a woman to rub lotion on him and to get into a shower with him, and that's obviously horrible if true and might have warranted other charges? I do wonder if he would have been charged with anything absent that behavior since indecent exposure would seem like an interesting charge to me if he had just been naked in the locker room and hadn't done anything else.

 

Again, have you been in a Planet Fitness? With the two I used to frequent (as well as a couple other gyms), the staff are at the entrance counter to scan people in, and they couldn't even see the locker room entrances from the reception desk where they stay the entire time.

Is there a possibility that a policy allowing for transgenders to use gender-identified lockers or bathrooms may encourage a deviant to do something like this guy? Sure, it's possible. But most sexual predators (and this guy counts) cannot turn off that impulse to do things like this. They're going to scratch that itch someway, somehow, at some time. So I vehemently disagree with your assertion that a "transgender movement" has emboldened these people. Sexual assault and harassment instances were happening 25 years ago.

Yeah, it isn't like this was an 80s movie trope (from the perspective of "those rascals") or anything. But bringing that up is probably "woke" or something because the same people outraged about this enjoyed those movies. Clearly, it was just because there are trans people and they aren't demonized.

 

I hope the “real” women in the locker room at the time of the abhorrent behavior by this freak sue PF and collect some significant $$s.
