My first peek at lady basketball.

 

Well, we lost to Ole Miss on road by 11 and then lost to them at home in OVERTIME by 10. We were without Kyle in both games so maybe we can play with them.

 

I’m afraid Wingtee went night night! I bet he’ll be back for tomorrow nights game!

Hit um well, I’m not playing until 12:30 tomorrow.

 

Nice win and should guarantee them a slot in the WNIT. Ole Miss is beatable and when our ladies play together and move the ball around, limiting turnovers, they're a pretty good team. They had 19 turnovers tonight to only 8 assists, got outrebounded by 10, but turned over Vandy 22 times. And Vandy had no answer for Matharu, who went off tonight. Hard to believe Correa only scored 3 points, Rimdal didn't score and we still won.

 

honestly we were already headed to the NIT we just may get a home game in it now.
We played well enough tonight to let Matharu carry us thank goodness. LC wasnt feeling great today, it showed. They are fun to watch in person. We had the crowd for the most part, I got to sit back and let other people complain about the officiating instead of me for a change. Unfortunately will not be able to go to tomorrow nights game but it was a fun two days here.

 

Why Leilani Correa not a starter? I rarely follow the ladies basketball but the one game I watched she was a star!

Without Kyle, we've been getting bullied in rebounding. We need to have Faith and Jerriah go nuts attacking the glass to have a chance to beat Ole Miss. Do that, and get big games from Matharu and Correa, and we just might pull it off.

Wingtee, I’m a member of Atlantic Beach Country Club but today played with some buddies at the Mayport Naval Station Course. Did I remember correctly that you used to be a member at Jacksonville Golf and CC? Love that course.

 

I lived in the Ravines and was a member plus a member at Orange Park CC. I played the ABCC when it was Selva Marina many times.
Now they wouldn’t let me thru the font door.
