You’re right, 9 is not a bad number for the women for a half. I just hate to see us turn it over without Mathura or Correa get a shot. And just as I was thinking that Faith Dut hit a long two! Good for her.

 

Gosh, without Kyle we have no inside presence on offense or defense. Going to have to keep scoring. Can’t stop them around basket.

 

Mathura is a beast, gets a big rebound and drives the entire court and makes it look easy with another layup. We’re going to have to ride her like a rented mule the rest of the way!

See this is what I mean about trying to force it to players other than Mathura or Correa. Two trips down court Reynolds misses an easy layup and next time turn it over trying to force it in the middle to a player who’s chances of catching cleanly and scoring are not good.

 

Zippy has really given the team a shot in the arm the second half of the season. When she came back I thought we were going to have an excellent second half and then the devastating injury to Kyle.
