I'm still scratching my head after the Mizzou debacle Tuesday night. Yet another game where the other team inexplicably shoots the 3 like Steph Curry. Also, our bigs got manhandled in the paint. Turnovers and free throw shooting were also not up to par.

Next up is Texas in Gainesville. I hope we have gotten over the Missouri hangover so that we can play up to our usual standard.

Texas, 12-5 (1-3 SEC), has one remarkable win in a victory at Oklahoma. They have lost games to Ohio St, UConn, Auburn, Texas A&M and Tennessee.

But, as we learned Tuesday, best to bring your "A" game every night against every opponent lest you get the "L".

    Go Gators!

Our two losses have had the same common denominator. A 3 point specialist changed the game. Obviously other things didn’t go our way as well, but the threes are what did us in IMO. I do think no other shooter has the performance that Brea and Grill had against us. To have two of those in one season is odd, much less three. Typically when you get burned by guys like that they hit 4-7 spanned out over an entire game, much easier to absorb.

We lost the Missouri game because our defense did not wake up until the second half and we could not hit the broad side of a barn in the first half.
