Players have to execute..coach isn't out there missing FTs and turning the ball over..sometimes it isn't all on the coach
not about the missing FTs, it is about court awareness, knowing where to pass the ball, how to attack and go to the basket. Knowing how to run shooters off the 3 pt line. We have not done any of that tonight. Its not just this game either, UNC , Bama and KY were very similar to this with us trying to fight back from big deficits
I still say the coach isn't totally responsible for the poor play ( just my humble opinion)...several of those girls were all Americans and have been playing a long time..they haven't forgotten how to pass ect..sometimes the other team is better They seemed to have awareness last game
at some point you have to figure out who is at fault here, she recruited these kids. She matter of fact purposely under recruited other players and pushed another off the team so give others more playing time.
I have been part of the group shielding and going to bat for KRF..I believe she will get another year at least, but if she does not improve as a coach then she wont be here after next season
Like I said..unfortunately our women's basketball team has not been stellar for years..even with Ross... Been hoping every year for a very long time that we would get better..
the thing is that is not how it works...this falls on the coaching staff, she put together this team that was very short on ball handlers. We are 2 short at least. Mcgill has been overwhelmed tonight..refs have not helped her at all, and it shows in her play that it has affected her.
