Our young pitchers are getting learned something this weekend - the SEC ain't travel ball or high school no matter how good you are. Still love this team!!!

 

Some good news is that Georgia got beat by Arkansas today 3-2, the Bulldogs' 2nd SEC loss.

 

If you can fault anything with the staff Walton has this year is that he didn't manage the innings of Rothrock and Brown earlier. Probably needed to pitch Miller much more against that weak schedule.

 

I’m sorry I brought it back up. We have great pitchers but young and inexperienced. This weekend is definitely a learning experience for everyone and I trust everyone will learn from this weekend. Go gators

 

Agreed, 2 of the first 3 series of the SEC year on the road against quality competition. Good learning experience.

 

3 up 3 down for the Gators in the top of the 6th, with both pinch hitters striking out. We need to keep them at 6 runs and then hope the top of the order can score at least 2 in the top of the 7th.

 

Unfortunately Hovermale and Wilkie as PHs didn't look any better than Williams.

 

I think at some point TW should at least consider starting Walsh at 2B and DP Goddard.
