(SB) UF vs Mississippi State March 30, 2024 1 PM

Not getting good swings against this pitcher so far.

 

That looked like a ball Falby catches all the time.

 

Agreed. When UF needs to score runs (as in this series) need to play all the big bats - or at least DP for Mia.

 

Our defense is all out of sorts this weekend.

 

Man, this is hard to watch. I'm used to seeing UF put other teams in these situations.

 

Our pitching is not fooling anyone - and yet we can't figure out a pitcher we figured out 2 days ago.

 

Our pitching staff is either last or next to last in the SEC in strikeouts and in tight situations when you need a K, we're just not getting them. Their freshman hitters are doing better than our freshman hitters and have the whole series. We've got time to win this thing. Just need to get the bats cranking. They have 7 hits to our 3 and 2 of ours are infield hits.

 

Lead off walk, need to get her in.

Williams just needs to sit. She looks awful at the plate.

 

Mia looks like she’s just guessing when she swings.

 

Mia is struggling and now pressing it seems.

 

Plus the other hit was "sun-aided".

 

Who besides Walsh can Walton stick in at 2B?

Our pitchers keep jamming their right-handed hitters and they've gotten several bloop singles by just making contact. Give them credit for battling at the plate.
