Ball game 66-106 lsu..what a hard way to lose..hopefully they can be more competitive in the next game
You are a respected poster here. And you are right again. No one asked for my opinion on either occasion. Does not matter that the first was on the pay side and this one was on the free side. We all should be careful about posting silly stuff. Bet the site owner frowns on this as well.
I didnt figure it would be competitive, we have no inside players to slow them down. Dut tried hard, but it was a mis match from the beginning. Plus LSU had lost 2 straight and Mulkey did not want a close game. It was a blood bath underneath. Kelly Rae has to reload down low next year, we have 2 signed who are very good. But we lost 3 to transfer and 1 left last year for the pro league in Germany. SC took a girl just to sit her on the bench up there that would have gotten major minutes here this year. Stanley was being cut throat after we poached Jordan off her staff. Maybe we can get a few of their bigs next year as a swipe at them. Who knows
Yep. There were times today that when Dut was on the bench the size differential was completely astounding. I mean it was not that dissimilar to having young girls playing against adult women. KRF has to add more interior depth if UF ever hopes to compete with the LSUs and the S. Carolinas. We currently have two bigs coming in. More are needed.
Weird thing with these two teams in we came in 2nd on two of their "bigs" in recruiting that could have really helped us. Walker at SC and Morrow was down to us and LSU when she was transferrring last year. There were rumors she even committed to us before getting a nice offer from LSU to go their. She was very motivated today. Think about it, LSU has two centers that would be in front of DUT and we were battling Morrow with 2 guards most of the game. Heck even the backup center we have played 2 guard at A&M. Alot of turmoil amognst the bigs last year on the team. Funny thing is those girls left for greener pastures and are doing the same things at their new schools. They would have really helped today also. We will have 3 nice bigs at least next year but we need 5.
I am new to this forum as I am just now really getting back into WBB . Can someone enlighten me on our Gator girls? If i’m not mistaken, didn’t we beat LSU recently? Also went to the NCAA tournament with pretty good seeding , correct? If all of that is correct, what happened to the program …?
This program has been a roller coaster ride for decades. Praying we finally turn a corner next year. Some key pieces arrive, but more is still needed.
