After the error fest on Saturday, it sounds like the Gators need to put the ball in play Sunday and force Bama to play defense. When we get runners on be sure they are active on the base paths. Force their defense to make the right read and throw. If their pitcher is as good as discussed make the defense back her up.

 

If they win tomorrow it'll be the first time in program history they sweep Alabama.

 

That is surprising.

 

When these ladies win tonight, it will make the series tied at 44 & 44.

 

I’m definitely not an Alabama fan, but I am really surprised that they are so bad this year. Eight errors in two games? I would hate to be a good pitcher on this team with this atrocious defense behind me! Anyway, I predict a sweep tonight and a rise in the rankings! Go Gators!

 

Keegan threw only the 3rd one hitter also Saturday.

2009 Michelle moultrie was a foot away from walking game 3 off. which would've not only been Florida's first sweep of alabama, It would've been the first and to my knowledge only undefeated sec season. I forgot what year it was but we almost swept bama but a couple of costly errors scored 2 runs for alabama which held up for them.

 

Would love the sweep, but tonight is a gravy game. Already a successful series. They can play loose.

 

As deep and tight as the SEC is going to be this year, every game matters. The first goal of any UF program is to win the conference championship. So a 3-0 start, plus putting Bama in an 0-3 hole, would be a tremendous way to start the SEC campaign.

 

Game 1 starts in the circle again tonight.

I think they already have been playing loose honestly. I hope they sweep and handle the success from the first two games well. They got the big win over UCLA then blew it against Michigan.

I'm all for giving the freshmen a shot. I'm not surprised Rothrock is starting but I wonder why we haven't seen Miller much lately.... just hope its not some sort of injury thing. I would think we see her work the rise ball more tonight.
