I found a Twitter post on line before the Alligator article hit the web with a copy of the Title IX complaint dated 9/27/24; why did it take so long to become public.

I believe he knew about the former WBB coach issues and covered those up for over a year.

It’s like getting punched in the nuts over and over and over again. Has there ever been an athletic program that has taken on this many blows over a 5-6 year period?

If this turns out to be true and UF knew about it back in September then the entire athletic department and administration needs to be cleaned out. How could they continue to let him coach and be the face of Florida basketball?

As a criminal defense attorney, a lot is missing here for me to believe it. Very simple motive could be a woman who thought she was getting Todd’s attention, lost it, and told her sorority sisters about it. Sounds so far like all likes/messages/true paper trail documents have not been produced.

As a girl dad, I fully support a full investigation. As an attorney who has personally been able to disprove allegations like this, I hope a knee jerk reaction is not made now that it’s public.

Well one thing is for certain, the Napier annoy isn’t front and center now. Almost like it was strategic.

It appeared to be a redacted and truncated, partial copy of the Title IX Notice that only a few people would have had. Specifically, I think, only the people in the investigation, and the investigators. Seems that someone wanted it published.

Yes this seems to be an extremely dumb thing to do, and Golden doesn't strike me as a dumb guy.

This being a Title IX issue, does that mean the women involved are UF athletes?

I really want your post to have truth to it, but the story and the allegations, by what appears to be numerous females, well if your suggestion is correct an entire sorority is in on it.

You will also, undoubtedly, have noticed several buzzwords used in direct quotes in The Alligator story too.

Not necessarily. Students. Maybe employees. I'm not a Title IX expert though.

The way I read it is the Alligator spoke to two girls who are speaking for the rest. To get to the magnitude the Alligator is suggesting, there is almost no chance there is not proof other than their statements. Sure, there are always outliers to odds/cases but this many people knew about it and no one saved a shred of evidence? Seems off. For all we know, a mountain of evidence is in the administration’s hands and he is screwed. But based on what we know now, I wouldn’t even suspend him pending investigation.
