Also did it to a player when he was coaching high school

He's gonna try that with the wrong person one day.

Did the other team score first play after this? Haha

I think it's childish as hell to scream like that at another person, be professional. However, there's a part of me that wonders if Napier even has 1% of that in him? If there was ever a time to lose it on someone, it's when your ST gives the ball back to a team after a defensive stop. We have done it twice already this year and both times the other team scored TDs on the following drive and both felt like back breakers.

Napier called giving the ball back with a stupid penalty just "a rookie mistake." Hey, it's just one of those things.

I'm more put off by the ST stuff than I am Napier calling plays on offense. I think ST has to be addressed immediately.

Usce is going to be the game it gets exposed to the point of national embarrassment if the staff doesn't do something about it now. That usce game will be a 3 hour clinic on Beamer ball.

If Dilfer got that upset about 12 guys on the field, I wonder what he would do if it were 13?

Living near Tampa during his time there as QB, he was in the media quite a bit. Based on those recollections, this is surprising as he always seemed like a well-natured person.

So what did Dilfer accomplish by that besides looking like a jerk?

I see a lot of comments on here regarding Napier’s calm demeanor. I’m as critical as anybody on BN, but his composure on the field is one of his attributes that I actually like. HC’s know damn well that camera is pointed at them which is why they have those meltdowns. You represent the team and the school. Be an adult.

Clearly he would be about 8% madder. Assuming my calculator was right.

A little emotion is not a bad thing, not over the top but a little.

Used to cry on his Elite 11 show and rages on the sideline. CTE?

I dunno, it's no comparison to how Dilfer was acting, but I appreciated when the HBC would visibly get upset on the sidelines. It made me feel like he had skin in the game and was just as much a fan as anyone else, he just also happened to be the coach.

But yeah, no degrading someone or kicking stuff on the sidelines. That's too much.

You can’t publicly berate a subordinate like that, especially not in front of the kids who are supposed to take his word as gold.
It’s unfair to the coach, and ultimately bad for the program. Not to mention the awful optics.

The only coach that has earned the right to rip into other coaches and players is Nick Saban.

There are 30 million reasons on why Napier does not want to screw up by letting his emotions get the best of him

    He wants that bag

More like 17%. We're dealing with volume levels/square of the distance type stuff.
