I'm not surprised by anything that Trump does. Yes, he's singing kumbaya with someone who'd love to see this country in ashes, but that's him as long as He gets something out of the transaction. Everyday is a new low. What concerns me are the sycophantic enablers (politicians and citizens who would have been appalled 25 years ago). WHEN, not IF, he decides he's running for a 3rd term or just stays in the White House and says "what are you gonna do about it?" these same folks will be on here to defend it. And frankly once you have the military, it's over. He can stay and there's not a thing you can do. Convince me I'm wrong, but the evidence is telling me otherwise. I could go on and on with things that people have stated would never happen and instead now get a shoulder shrug.

Henry Kissinger once said that to be America’s enemy is dangerous, but to be America’s friend is fatal. Will Zelensky be next ?

If you think it's time to cut the military funding to Ukraine, then stop it. Not necessary to do it on live TV and gang up on the leader.

But I'm not surprised that there has to be a big show about it, because this administration loves the drama and theatrics. They know their base gets off on the fake-alpha male bs.

reporter from Tass, Russian news agency, allowed to attend press conference but AP was not

MAGA - you okay with this

Trump White House scrambles after allowing Russian state media into briefing

A reporter for Russian state media was allowed to attend a joint briefing between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday, although the Trump White House claimed this was done in error.

The correspondent, who was working for the TASS Russian news agency, was first spotted by The Independent's Andrew Feinberg, who broke news of his presence on X.

“TASS was not on the approved list of media for today’s pool," they said. "As soon as it came to the attention of press office staff that he was in the Oval, he was escorted out by the White House press secretary. He is not on the approved list for the press conference."

Speaking of siding with Russia, comrade Hegadeath has instructed US to stand down cyber operations against Russia

Report: Defense Secretary Hegseth orders Cyber Command to halt Russia planning - SiliconANGLE

Some cybersecurity experts criticized the move. “How much more proof do we need that this administration is completely compromised?” cybercrime and security investigative journalist Brian Krebs wrote on infosec.exchange. “There is zero reason for the US to relax any offensive digital actions against Russia. If anything, we should be applying more.”

Good point. Thinking outside the box, perhaps he had him there because he is the Vice President.

jd Vance is the whiniest, grand standing bitch who has ever been vp. By far. The fact that he had the nerve to say that horseshit to a guy actually fighting to save his people marks him, for me, as one of the biggest boot licking cowards we’ve ever had in office and THAT is saying something.

    Direct quote from Trump:

"After things calmed a bit, Trump reflected: “This is going to be great television, I will say that.”

“Zelensky doesn’t need Trump’s help to give Putin four regions, downsize the army, and abandon NATO aspirations. If he wanted to surrender to Putin, he would have gone to Moscow, not Washington.” - Twitter

Yes Orange Cheesus certainly seems to be unable to manage meetings himself these days and seems to need a wing man to run the affairs...in any regard the real president was not present in that room and was probably busy starving out a few more babies in Africa to save another $.99 per child.
