I don’t see anything about the North producing their own “5th gen fighter”, I do see South Korea has been working on their the Kai-KF21. Are you sure that information is correct?

NK is a backwoods country, that doesn’t mean they aren’t a threat. It’s basically a criminal gangster state, although unlike the Russians their organized crime never got to resemble a free enterprise. It’s *all* in service to the state. I think that they have to resort to schemes like this at a nation-state level pretty well confirms their backwoods status.

That doesn’t make them not a threat. Any state actor that essentially commits itself to criminality and extortion as state policy is a possible threat to the free world. In addition, it’s well known they have massive amounts of artillery and can reach South Korean population centers with them.

I have yet to figure out why South Korea keeps the capital of their nation within artillery striking distance of North Korea. I realize that it is not easy to relocate a capital, but it can be done. Germany did it. Indonesia is in the process of relocating the capital out of Jakarta, so a country doesn't have to be super-wealthy to get it done.
