I was screaming at him on that late one. He was probably a millisecond from a T.

Personally, I have never been called for hanging onto the rim. I must be nuanced in my display.

Or is it that I can't come close TO the rim?

Hanging on the rim was never a problem for me.

Hopefully he keeps working on his moves and shots inside. His three point shooting needs work along with taking his time on ft’s. He is still breathing hard when he shoots and dribbles three times with his head down then suddenly he jerks his head up and lets it fly. Too fast in his getting ready to shoot. I rather him take his time, catch his breath, go through his dribble ritual. Look at the basket and put a little forward momentum in his shot. He made a few down the stretch but like Tyrese being so active, they both get a good number of chances and they need good percentages so this is not just a turnover on the Gators. Love his grit, his quickness and defense. With a couple of years here, improving his offensive arsenal, he will start getting great reviews from the pundents on tv. He is like a wild horse that needs refining but the athletic ability and toughness are very evident. As he grows into the body he has and gains 10-15 more pounds, finds a consistent 3 pt shot, the accolades will come. Alex, I and everyone on Gator Country are behind you and are thankful you came to the Gators.

Condo is a great addition to the Gators, but he's still a freshman. He makes a lot of turnovers and needs to know when to shoot the 3 and when not. He hit a couple of 3s early this season but most have been way off since. I'm not the coach--not yet anyway--but I only want him taking a 3 when wide open and late in the shot clock.
That said, he's an exciting player with a high ceiling. I'm guessing that by mid-February we're going to see him really coming into his game. Haugh, too.

Sophomore jump and some growth/muscle will be definetly better in terms of what we are seeing he, Haugh and Handlogten need to get better at. Three guys that have pretty high ceilings! This year is when they are going to play against a good number of future pros.

No, but they get briefed before games for things to look for.

He will get called for it in a one possession game at Kentucky or Tennessee.

Their big had 2 dunks - at 41-35 and at 55-49 where he hung on the rim the same way. I wouldn’t have been surprised if we got called when they didn’t though

Generally, it doesn't get called unless it's egregious. The one Tyrese got called for was egregious.

Ehh - his one pseudo-hang wasn't egregious or showboaty - which is what they're really looking for - something unsportsmanlike.

Seems like he was just waiting to hang vertically before softly dropping. I know we're all very tuned into those moments, but I think he was fine last night

Don’t give them a reason. He’s already been t’d up for one that wasn’t really any worse than what he did last night. Just stop doing it. A t last night likely would’ve cost us the game.

He had a dunk in the 2nd last night against McChiken that could have been called. It wasn't egregious, but if the refs are on notice of his habit, it will get called on the SEC road.

It is the hard pull down at the end of hanging that gets the T called. His last one he just hung….no pull down.
