That’s a great get! I wish these other kids who are contemplating playing over 1,000 miles away from home would consider what Jackson was thinking. I won’t name any names, but they’re in state and are both high rated receivers.

We have the luxury of not needing him right away. Great "problem" to have.

He’s a little small for a LB imo. I know he can gain weight but would he be more suited to convert to Safety?

Do you see him moving to safety or do we still have possibilities on closing with a safety or two? Portal if needed???

Bates was 217? Lbs aren't usually 245 anymore, agility is bigger in today's game.

215 is about what the Perkins kid weighs at ole miss right? Kid is great on passing downs, but i think we were running right at him in the 2nd half and that's the downside to being light. Kid is also only 18, so it's not crazy to think he's 225 or 230 this time next year.

I doubt James weighs 190 now....they really had him blown up to be big enough to play MLB.

It is possible to gain 25 lbs of muscle in a year without the assistance or pharmaceuticals. I did it my FR of college. It probably depends some on how much muscle you have to start with, however. I started at 150#, so essentially, I had none!
