I saw a bunch of stuff about a playoff OC to uf as oc that I don’t believe at all on twitter , do you think that me what Zach is referring to? If he’s hyping that, then he’s truly click bait.
that account on twitter is a fake account/account that tweets jokes and fake stories. I’d think Zach is referring to someone else. (And I thought he hinted it was a coach on the defensive side but I could be wrong).
And we were at least in the conversation for Thomas and Ffrench prior to ESD. If they miss home in year 2 you never know???
Florida is such a talent rich state. Dominate the recruiting and your talking top 5 classes every year.
Indeed, or is it he can give away large sums of billionaire donated money? Freezy may get "frozen out" in 2025 with another substandard effort in 2025.
Imagine if Billy wasn’t on the hot seat for 9/10 of the year. The man can recruit for sure, and he is slowly taking back the state. It’s just grindingly slow for all of us. Won those last three games and boom, boom, boom people started flipping immediately. Win 10 games next year and make the playoffs and see what happens. “Wes Chandler was Percy Harvin before Percy Harvin was born.”
He can definitely recruit considering we arent even sniffing playoffs in any recent year. Am i seeing a better quality of recruit as far as class and intelligence. I may be wrong but we dont seem to have the same amount of knuckleheads as weve had at other times. Maybe Napier just gets the right kids interviews or maybe there's a reason we dont have credit card scandals and kids choking their tutors. They did just set a record for gpa. I think im believing Napier may recruit better quality people to pkay for him. Maybe that's something that parents notice.
R2A - Agreed, the path and the journey has been a difficult one for CBN and Gator Nation. I think you are "on point" with this: It’s just grindingly slow for all of us. If I am using my abacas correctly UF is now 19-19 under CBN. Time to put a "losing" UF record in the rear view mirror in 25. The man can recruit for sure, and he is slowly taking back the state - It does seem Billy is slowly and painfully positioning UF back into "In State" recruiting prominance. My belief is UF will return to glory provided it can sign a decent % of the top 50 In State studs. I'm hoping 2025 springboards UF and Billy up another few notches. W-L record on the field. In recruiting. In Collective and Booster Donations. Win 10 games next year and make the playoffs and see what happens. Dicey to predict 10 regular season wins in 25 given the schedule, however not impossibly out of reach. Obviously CBN needs a better start to 25 to acheive such lofty goals. It is exciting to think what Napier could do with recruiting and the transfer portal should UF hit 9 or 10 "W's".
Nowadays you can make a living doing podcasts and writing articles that say nothing more than “I know something you don’t know, but I can’t tell you what it is”. Follow that up with “you’re going to like it” or “it’s not going to be good”, and you’ll get a thousand people to circulate it. They’ll even fill in the blanks for you so you can blame them when that’s not what happens or nothing happens.
I still can't believe LSU stole two very good Florida high school players at the top of that list. We should have tried harder to sign them. It's unfortunate that Pickett and his family fell for that LSU DB coach that we fired. He will see which team is headed in the right direction.
Allbarn hasn't been "sniffing the playoffs" either. IMO BN's recruiting ability is overrated. But TBH it's been more about the $$ than the coach's recruiting ability for many years. Hence DM's recruiting issues.
true - but for perspective their main rival signed recruits rated nationally overall composite rank 2 16 18 19 All of which rank higher than Auburns highest rated signee (and he happens to be out of Alabama) #32. So while Bama didn’t sign the top recruit (or many or even any) out of the Alabama top 10, they signed better talent from out of state. signing the top 10 in Florida is likely a bigger deal than out of home state Bama cuz historically Florida produces better overall talent.
