I see your point, but money received from those schools isn’t going to change the VERY deep pockets at Nike. The “swag” effect of being Jumpman brand is likely more beneficial to us than any money they receive from our players sporting the gear.
Never been any secrets to recruiting. Of course $ = championships. Those on3 NIL numbers you linked are complete garbage. It’s their own proprietary algorithm based on social media following and composite rankings…and has nothing to do with actual NIL dollars.
I imagine a few players and agents would leak numbers but doubt anyone outside a University really knows the NIL numbers.
You don't have to report your NIL deals to the University. At UF it's encouraged, and they'll help you work through the tax stuff if you do, but it's not required. No single entity has all the numbers.
There's a long list of places you also need to boycott then. You should be pretty safe if you limit your shopping to temu.
I second the motion, but it won't do any good. The guys who keep repeating them have been told over and over again that they're made up.
Meh. Not going to have much to work with. 2025 Florida State Seminoles Football Industry Comparison Commits 2024 Florida State Seminoles Football Industry Comparison Commits What I saw is a group of 3 star DE/Edge types. fsu probably needs a few big DL from the portal.
On3 shows uga recruiting class ranking is dropping (from 1st to 4th) and they still have 5 unsigned commits.
I see a theme. No safeties (3 verballed) are committing. They must have set a cap on their NIL for safeties.
Sorry my comment was unnecessarily pointed. I was being cheeky but that came off as more sardonic. They basically use a "proprietary algorithm" which I'm fairly certain is them just making up a formula for turning player ranking and team recruiting ranking into a dollar value. So, the new highly ranked QB that went to Memphis is likely going to have a very high NIL value relative to QBs for other teams around Memphis' ranking (and they probably manually do this one because we know FedEx gave a bunch of money to their NIL). Meanwhile, Myles Graham probably has a blanket $ value that is very similar to 100-150 LBs who play for teams like Florida. It's basically a marketing tool so if you Google "Lagway NIL," this is the first result: DJ Lagway - NIL Deals
