    It's crazy enough for football. But it's crushing the non revenue sports. They're either forced to massively increase their travel budgets past the breaking point or join new minor or sport specific conferences that lose rivalries and impacts interest. Plus the fungible athletic department money is now shifting hard to keep blood pumping into football with their new travel expenses and the anticipated compensation payouts coming soon.

    sadly tho, the only reason why both are starting is because of injuries. Lagway would still be getting every 3 series if Mertz never got hurt and Baugh would still be getting 6ish carries if Trell never gotten hurt
