size matters = crowd size matters = he wants to play in front of Florida crowds 100% confirmed. Lane is a Gator
The Gators must simply play well win or lose this weekend, a loss however this weekend compounded by another loss next weekend and/or a loss to UCF the weekend after and I believe Billy is done.
My take - tamu - If UF plays well but loses a close contest...... coin flip tamu - If UF loses, is dominated on both lines of scrimmage, has multiple penalties and stupid clock management - He is a "Gone Pecan". (Pee-Con) Ms State - If UF loses by any margin - gone pecan UCF - If UF loses gone pecan TN - Gets a pass KY - If UF loses gone pecan Just my opinion
Agreed but I don't think it's individual games that are going to do it. He has to get to .500. He needs 5 wins and there are 5 games before Georgia. Either he wins the next 5 in a row or he's gone because we are not winning a game in the last 5 games, especially if we have 2 or more losses. The team has shown remarkable resiliency but if we go into Georgia 4-3 the noise will be deafening and the team will start to think (know/recognize) the end is near.
Oh but I did not finish - rest of the season, UGA to FSU, - gotta win 2 to secure a 4th year. Win 1 - Coin toss and depends on the bowl performance. Lose 2, Gone Pecan.
I really think the possibility of a 4th year is not in the cards... unless we win 8 games. Then it gets interesting.
