I haven’t seen anyone who has decommitted yet. It looks like the poster might have also made a correction in a later post.
no one. Some random dude on twitter - not an insider- posting this. Could be someone decommit but this poster has zero info.
Don't believe anyone yet but the smoke around that comment was Brown is going to. Frankly, I'm just gonna step away rather than watch this demolition happen piece by piece. Time to get back into playing guitar and working on some house projects. The punches to this program just never seem to stop and it's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better. This is such a bad spot considering the landscape of the SEC, recruiting and the portal today. Sports are supposed to be a diversion youu enjoy and this just isn't enjoyable.
Give the ball to DJ and pray he doesn't get overwhelmed. We need to show some excitement or this class is gonna tank..
I'm with you. I've barely posted over a long stretch of time recently because it just hasn't been much fun. Our circumstances obviously aren't any better right now, but at least me posting my frustrations these days they aren't getting instantly mocked or dismissed. Cold comfort though. I'd prefer a more successful team and a sport that didn't seem to be degrading before our eyes.
A lot of people predicted well before Napier that these days were coming. The signs have been there for quite sometime. It's only being exacerbated by NIL. Is what it is. USCw, UCLA, GT, PSU, etc are always looking for company.
Steve Addazio was a good OL coach for us. Bring him right out if he broadcast booth. Not a good OC but very good on OL.
This is definitely the risk you take when recruiting players who failed at your level or higher and have nothing to prove. If they aren't connected to the team, NIL gets paid regardless. He's playing likes it's the 15th game of the NFL season, and his contract ran out.
Yeah, right now the sky is falling all around us. I was wondering when the verbal defections would begin, no doubt UF's enemies will do everything they can to negatively recruit against the Gators. Honestly antny, I almost feel like I owe an apology to the "I told you so and anti Napier Crowd". I don't know sh*t about what it takes. I'm just a fan. I wear thick O&B lens glasses, I can't help it. Billy is clearly a good man, his fathers story touched me. But my consideration of that only goes so far when you consider, should he be terminated today, he walks away with about a $50,000,000 sack of change if you count what he has made up to date and the buy out. I live literally paycheck to paycheck, if you get my drift. He can buy his new 10,000' Lake Front house, 3 mercedes and a couple of boats and not worry about anything the rest of his life, other than his health. UF football is important to me. Helps me cope. While I assume we will beat Samford, Old Dominion took S Carolina to the end and probably should have won the game. I don't take anything for granted anymore, the last time we played these guys when it looked like a program collapse they rang up 52 on UF. I see Billy getting terminated should UF lose to tamu, at home, and most certainly if UF loses next Saturday. As Will Miles said (Read and React) Billy has been making far too many withdrawals from the Gator Nation "patience" and "trust the process" account, and he has made darn few deposits. Outside of Game 1 against Utah and TN last year the record is beyond abysmal. Looking at the schedule, 3 wins might be a reach. Maybe DJL can spark em, but without a defense and offensive line, thats a big ask for even the most talented QB, especially asking it from a Freshman. It has come to the point for UF to take a hard look and make hard decisions, I hate it, but it is what it is.
These are the re These are the reasons why Stricklin needs to give Urban à call. 2-NCs and 2-SECs as you mentioned. 3-13 wins, 2-9 wins and 1 mediocre season that we were hoping CBN can match this season.
