I keep saying, Florida was 2 plays away from being 7-5 with a bowl game.

That was Miami's record last season. They are getting a lot of love with that record.
We probably hold onto the top recruiting class with a 7-5 record as well.

Well considering that HS schedule they play, they may have a good season, but they are getting their butt kicked 8/31.

 

It's even harder to swallow - UF actually MADE the first FG attempt against Arky as I recall but a penalty negated the win when the subsequent kick failed.

I'm not sure it's possible to have Texas, bama, uga, LSU, and ole miss in the playoff. They all play each other too much, and I just don't believe you will see the 5th best team in the conference getting in. I think it's more likely the big12 or ACC has a 2nd team.

 

There have definitely been years where five SEC teams are in the top 12
